Responsible for growing the business by increasing sales and profits of existing stores and identifying and developing new market opportunities, including nontraditional outlets such as sports stadiums, supermarkets, convenience stores, kiosks, and carts at special events.

Current international units’ operational and financial performance, existing agreements compliance and enforcement, Foodmaker International’s strategic planning and business plan development, etc.  Reported directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Jack in the Box.

Researched International franchise expansion opportunities; established contacts with various sources, researched economy, demographics, employment, projected sales, and evaluated suitability, feasibility, and other related data.  Formulated preliminary marketing plans and recommendations for presentation to Senior Management.

Developed effective methods for attracting qualified franchisee prospects and communicating the nature of the International franchise program.  Assisted in qualifying prospective franchisees by obtaining applications and conducting initial screening interviews.  Participated in the negotiation process in conjunction with Senior Management as required.
